Staying in the Monastery
For Ordained Guests
The Constitution is being changed at the moment and therefore not available for download.
For Lay people
Women and men, who are seriously interested in the teachings of the Buddha,
are invited to spend an agreed period of time in the monastery.
The proportion of study and meditation can be determined by each person individually.
Initially it is possible to stay for three days, subsequently guests are welcome for a period of up to two weeks.
The conditions for staying are the observance of the monastery rules, following the daily schedule, and the willingness
to help with work in the kitchen and all other necessary work.
For people living locally, it is possible to join in the general evening practice.
Please check out the times in our calendar on this site, when visits are not possible.
Please note: Anenja Vihara is not a retreat center.
