Directions to the monastery
- By car:
Coming from Kempten via Sulzberg, follow signs towards Kranzegg for ca. 9 km, until Rieder,
turn left in Rieder towards Gerats, go 1,6 km until Acker,
take a sharp left in Acker, turn left again after 200 m.
- By train to Kempten or Immenstadt:
You can take a taxi from Kempten via Sulzberg to Vorderburg
to Anenja Vihara. Time of travel appr. 20 min,

Immenstadt is the next station after Kempten (15 min extra ride).
From Immenstadt, you can come by taxi as well.

Or you can take the bus to Vorderburg on weekdays and Saturdays (not on Sundays and holidays). Bus No. 9781 towards Oberjoch via Wertach leaving from the train station in Immenstadt. Anenja Vihara is about 2 km from Vorderburg, and is easily accessible by foot following a small side road leading upward on a gentle slope (a walk of appr. 30 min).

- Description of the foot path from Vorderburg:
In the village of ‘Vorderburg’, turn right towards ‘Acker, Morgen, Keller, Batzers’. Follow road to ‘Acker’. Past ‚Acker’, go right uphill in the direction of the sign to ‘Holz, Petersthal’. The next turnoff to the left is the small paved road to Anenja Vihara
