Bhikkhuni Sucinta, born 1950 in Germany

In 1991 she became an Anagarika at Amaravati Monastery/England. Bhante Henepola Gunaratana gave her Samaneri Ordination at the Bhavana Society in West Virginia/USA where she practised from 1994 until 1998 under his guidance. In 1998 she received the higher ordination in Bodhgaya/India. After extended periods of practice in Burma, the USA and Australia she arrived at Anenja Vihara in March 2010.

 

Bhikkhuni Ruxiong, born 1963 in Italy

She went forth in 1994 in South Korea and spent around eight years practising there. She received Siksamana Ordination in Taiwan at Daksinavana Bhiksuni Sangha Ashram in March 2004 and Bhiksuni-Ordination at the same temple on 22nd March 2007.

 

Samaneri Saddha, born 1984 in Germany

At age 17 she first came in touch with Buddhism and practiced since 2006 in the Buddha Haus City Center in Stuttgart, Germany, through which she got to know the Bhikkhuni Monastery Anenja Vihara. During her second stay there in December 2007 she decided to become a nun. She lived in the monastery as a lay person since February 2008 and received the Samaneri ordination there on 23. Novemer 2008.

 

Samaneri Viveka, born 1969 in Germany

She came in contact with the tibetan buddhist population of Ladakh, Northern India in 1997. Her practice began with retreats in the tradition of Ayya Khema. An Anagarika-Ordination followed in Amaravati, England in 2006. Since the beginning of 2009 she is staying at Anenja Vihara and received Samaneri ordination here in early July 2009.
